Spreading deciduous tree with sharply toothed, dark green leaves that are pale bronze when young turning yellow in autumn. The 'Ya-shidare-higan' has double pink (20 to 25 petals) flowers and is very floriferous and longer lasting the the regular subhirtella 'Pendula'.
